ABOUT US
Founded in 1994, the Transportation Research Center (TRC) is the interdisciplinary home to transportation-related research at the University of Colorado Denver. It brings together more than 20 affiliated faculty and 80 graduate students from engineering, urban planning, public health, public policy, geography, and computer science to advance and diffuse research, teaching, and outreach related to sustainable transportation systems. More specifically, the TRC @ CU Denver focuses on multimodal safety and travel behavior, transportation modeling, data collection and analysis techniques, infrastructure design, as well as transportation investment decision analysis.

Wes Marshall, PhD, PE
Dr. Marshall is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and affiliate faculty in Planning and Design at the University of Colorado Denver. He focuses on transportation research and teaching dedicated to creating a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient transportation system, particularly in terms of road safety, active transportation, and transit.
